Relay control motor start-up RKP-380
Purpose
The RKP-380D relay is designed for controlling start of the three-phase asynchronous electric motor (AEM) in industrial installations (compressors, pumps, fans, etc.) with external power contactors or other switching devices by means of the internal relay contacts.
Construction
The RKP-380 relay is executed in the case for installation on a DIN lath.
On the front panel of the block are:
- display;
- 4 buttons for management of operating modes and the mode of programming of the RKP-380D relay: "Menu", "Record", "-/STOP", "+ / START".
In the top and lower part of the block there are screw terminal blocks for connection of the block to a controlled network, chains of the alarm system and actuation mechanisms.
For voltage measurement precision resistive dividers are used.
The microprocessor makes processing of signals of tension and external sensors, and operates operation of internal relays on the specialized program.

- disconnection of the asynchronous electric motorat actuation of emergency sensors;
- smooth start of an asynchronous electric motorby switching over from the «star” to the “delta” scheme;
- possibility of automatic control on basis of signals from external sensors;
- counting, indicationandpossibilityofeditingtotal asynchronous electric motor hours and control of external counter of total motor hours.
